Recycling Solar Glasses After the Eclipse

To recycle your solar glasses after enjoying the eclipse, simply look for the green pail placed at the entrance of the library. Once you've found the pail, drop your solar glasses inside to ensure they are properly recycled. Remember to bring your solar glasses to school so you can contribute to keeping our planet clean.

Casting Call!

Attention all students! We have an exciting opportunity for those interested in acting. A casting call is being held for a high school project with exact dates to be decided.  The project is about a young teen living alone with her father who slowly uncovers a family secret and must reevaluate who she can trust.

Roles:

  1. **Cateline (Female, 12-16)**: Cateline is an innocent, charismatic teen who lives alone with her father and lacks a mother figure. She is forced into the crosshairs of a father who moves around a lot, making changing schools and futile friendships common elements of Cateline’s life.

  1. **Dad (Male, 35-45)**: Cateline’s Dad is a loving, well-intentioned father for all intents and purposes. At least, that seems to be the case until unforeseen events force him to show his true colours…

  1. **Mia (Female, 12-16)**: Mia is a naive young teen wanting to support a needy friend.

This is a non-union, non-paid project, but food will be provided. If you're interested, please send a recent portrait of yourself, indicate which role you are applying for, and include a brief description of your acting experience to [email protected] by April 20, 2024. Invited actors will then receive a script to record their self-tape.
