Get Permission Forms signed ASAP for 1st Visual, Media & Photography Arts Field Trip to the AGO 

All students who signed up for the AGO - Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto on Friday October 20th need to get the permission forms signed and returned to Mr. Arnett or Mrs. Sprung ASAP - any other students still interested can pay $58.00 through cash on-line, spots still available on bus.

 

The Royal Canadian Legion Owen Sound is hosting the Remembrance Day Poster and Literary Competition. See Miss Jerome in Portable 9 for an entry form and the rules and regulations. Entries will be picked up from the school on October 30

 

The public libraries of Bruce and Grey counties are seeking short stories, poetry, and art submissions for the 2023 Write @ Your Library Contest. Please find Miss Jerome in Portable 9 for rules and regulations. Entries submitted by email to Sarah Chamberlain by October 27.


Student Cards were distributed to homeroom teachers yesterday for those who have paid their student fee on School Cash Online. If you were away, check with your homeroom teacher. You can still purchase your student card and pick it up from the Finance Office. Make sure you keep your card with you for upcoming SAC events and giveaways. 


Anyone who is interested in joining the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Youth council should see Ms. Fitz for more information.



DECA

Meeting in Portable 5 today at lunch. This will be your last opportunity to register for your event. You need to do this through your DECA account. Please be there today!


Girls Rugby


The girls rugby teams traveled to Clinton yesterday, to take part in the St. Anne’s 7’s tournament. The Sr girls played three excellent games, beating OSDSS #2,  Stratford, and losing a close game against KDSS.


The Jr girls also played strong games against SHHS, OSDSS, KDSS, and Stratford.


Practice next Tuesday, with games at OSDSS on Thursday.
