PHOTO DAY

Photo Day is this Monday, September 18th in the gym.  All students and staff are to have their photo taken for their photo package, their student card and the yearbook.



SCHEDULE CHANGES

Tomorrow is the last day for schedule changes for this semester unless you have extenuating circumstances like needing a change of course level.  If you still need a schedule change, sign up for a guidance appointment immediately or go to the guidance office today at lunch or after school.



BIPOC

The BIPOC Student Group will be hosting an information meeting today at lunch in Room 225. BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour. If you identify as one of these groups, we would love to have you come out! New members are always welcome!! 




★☆★ 1st Visual, Media & Photography Arts Field Trip ★☆★    c(◕0◕c)    

Any students interested in participating in the Arts field trip to the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto on Friday October 20th to see the entire museum collection including the special exhibition on Brian Donnelly A.K.A. KAWS, should see Mr. Arnett or Mrs. Sprung for more info. Cost is admission + transportation $58.00 through cash on-line.  





Math Help Center

The math help center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch in Room 319.  Bring your lunch and your questions.


Science Fair!

Room 329. Lunch. If you have Mr. Kim this semester or next, we're doing science fair! If you have special interests in your life, it can probably become a science fair project! Research, study, or experiment, it's all valid! Like to exercise? Track your progress? That's science fair! Like baking? Vary up your ingredients and/or dosage sometimes? That's science fair! It doesn't have to be a big deal. Room 329. At lunch. Come learn about the benefits of doing science fair :)!!!



DECA

DECA is a business club that focuses on promoting collaboration, problem solving, and communication skills. It is an international club where you could compete at a provincial and international level! It is a very supportive group. You don’t need to be a master at any of these things but if you want to grow these abilities, check us out! Also, this looks fantastic on a university application! 


If you’re in Grade 9 or 10, please come and see us so you can get used to it this year and be a pro by the time of Grade 12. We will meet on Friday at lunch in portable 5!


Advocate


Writers and illustrators will be meeting today after school in room 327. Don’t forget to sign up for a late taxi if needed. 


Jr Boys Volleyball

The final tryouts for the Jr Boys volleyball team will be held today at 3:15 in the gym.
