Girls Basketball


The final roster for the Sr Girls Basketball Team has been posted. Thank you to all students who came out and tried out for the team! 


Our first team practice will be tomorrow (Wednesday) after school. 


Jr Girls Basketball tryouts will be continuing tomorrow afterschool. 


Congratulations!!!

Congratulations to grade 12 student Joseph Weiler who was just in Colombia as part of the Canadian U18 Softball Team competing in the Pan Am Cup.  Joseph and his teammates won bronze and will be advancing to Mexico to compete in the World Softball Cup later this semester.


Guidance Appointments

Students should be just about done making schedule changes.  If you still need a schedule change, sign up this morning using one of the QR codes in the hallway, by going on to the school website under the “Students” tab, or by going to the guidance office before school, at lunch or after school.


SAC

Student Council will be meeting every Wednesday from 3:30 - 5:00 pm in room 210 (Student Success). We will have our first after school meeting tomorrow. If you’d still like to join, please come to tomorrow’s meeting.


Junior & Senior Girls Basketball


Jr & Sr Girls Basketball tryouts will continue tomorrow after school. 


D&D

Dungeons and Dragons is seeking new adventurers for the 2023-2024 school year! If you are interested in joining, please come to room 235 TONIGHT after school for our first session (session 0) to join a campaign and build a character.


Guitar Club

Guitar club meets this Wednesday in the music room at 3:25 after school. Bring your guitar. Sign up for a late taxi if needed. 


Varsity Baseball 

Open Junior tryouts are Wednesday, Senior tryouts are Friday 3:30-5:00 at Duncan McClelland park. Late taxi will be available Wednesday. 


Improv

Improv is a form of theatre where everything is made up “on the spot” - no scripts!


There will be an Open Improv tomorrow after school in the Drama room.  All are welcome to come learn improv skills and play theatre games.


Attention Health & Wellness SHSM Students!

SAGA

St. Mary's has a Sexuality and Gender Acceptance club here and is welcome to everyone and anyone looking for a space to meet new people. We will meet today in Portable 3!


Girls Rugby

Training tonight after school.  All are welcome.  Come out and give dynamic sport a try.

Once changed, meet in the cafeteria.


Chess Club 

Chess club will be held today in room 234 at lunch.


Jr Boys Volleyball

There will be a tryout for ONLY grade 9’s tonight after school. Sign up for a late taxi if needed.


Math Help Center

The math help center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch in Room 319.  Bring your lunch and your questions.


BIPOC

For any students interested in joining the BIPOC Student Group, there will be an information meeting this Thursday in Room 225. BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous and People of Colour - if you identify as one of these groups we would love to have you come out!
