Tiny Home Pilot Project

Your spare change can make a big difference! 

Unique Tiny Home Piggy Banks are set up in every classroom until the end of next week. All proceeds are going towards the Tiny Home Project that we are building right here at St. Mary’s!

Today is the day! Graduates are to meet at the very beginning of lunch in front of portable 1 for this year’s GRAD GROUP PHOTO! Please be prompt and bring your smiles!  We got one shot at this!

SIR ISAAC NEWTON Physics Contest

If there are any students who have taken Grade 12 Physics in the past who are interested in writing the University of Waterloo Sir Isaac Newton Physics contest this year on May 4th, please come see Miss Takken in RM 313 at lunch or email Miss Takken your interest this week.  She has to order the tests!


Track and Field


There is no track and field practice today but regular practice will resume on Tuesday and Thursday next week in the weight room. See Mr. Lahn or Ms. Mullen for more information or a permission form.


Specialist High Skills Major


All Specialist High Skills Major students who are coming to the Blue Jays game later in April, please come to the co-op room following announcements for information on the certifications you will be earning. Bring your chromebook if you plan on staying to complete the training this morning. If you have concerns, please email Mr. Low.  


Boy Soccer


There will be a practice today in the weight room after school. Please meet briefly in the gym first for a team photo. 



3rd Visual, Media &Photography Arts field trip to the Museum of Illusions and Power Plant Gallery scheduled for Friday May 12 is a go!


Big thank you to all students supporting this Arts extra curricular opportunity - we have the minimum 30 payed but there are still about 9 more spots available should other students still be interested in participating - proceed to cash on-line asap. :)



Jr Badminton

The Jr Badminton team had a great day at the BAA North Tournament at OSDSS yesterday. 3 teams finished first -  Elise Nair and Maisie MacDonald in Girls Doubles, Ellie Howell and Charlie Young in Mixed Doubles, and Dawson Fromager and Quinlan Clarke in Boys Doubles. Several other team members also placed in the top 4 and will be advancing to the BAA tournament next wekk. Congratulations Jr Badminton team!
