BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Here is BSA’s daily message: Do you know who Madam C.J. Walker is? Madam C.J. Walker is the first black woman who became a self made millionaire. She created a hair product named “Wonderful Hair Grower” It was specifically made for black women and their hair. As she created it, she also promoted her amazing product everywhere and got many sales. Madam continuously boosted her brand, and eventually it became very successful.
This will be the last day to buy tickets for BSA’s movie night for tomorrow after school. You will be able to buy tickets in front of the cafeteria, and on SchoolCashOnline.

8 incredible students from our DECA club qualified for DECA's 44th provincial competition in Toronto along with more than 6000 students across the province. To prepare for this competition is a significant commitment of studying and practicing…over and over again! They showed up with heart, grit, and creativity! We are sooo proud of you.
Ruby Izzard earned TWO medals for getting one of highest marks on her test and on her role play. Jackson Miller earned a medal for one of the highest mark in his exam's event. We want to especially thank Maya Ostrom, Jackson Miller, and Heavlyn Sekyere (pronounced Setra) who will use their skills and their gifts at university next year. We genuinely appreciate your contribution to our club! Lavina Stephen, Islay Graham, Jiya Kukreja, and Natalie Wild, we can't wait to continue this journey next year. It's been an honour!
Does DECA sound interesting to you? Please chat with our delegates to learn more or Mr. Low and Ms. Simons. We will be running business competitions for the rest of the year and see if DECA business club is for you! We already can't wait for next year.
