Robotics
Tonight there is a practice in the Innovation Space after school. We are preparing for our first qualifier this Saturday in Aurora. GO DISHWASHERS!
Curling
There will be a practice tonight at the Bluewater Club from 3:30-4:30. Come prepared and head straight over to the club when you can.
Level One Cook and Level One Carpentry at Georgian College
These immersive programs are being offered semester 2 and space is limited. Participants will learn at the college and will spend half the semester in a co-op. Interested students must be in grade 12 and should come to see Mr. Low in guidance. Applications are being taken until November 20.
Nordic Ski Team
There will be a nordic ski dryland practice tonight from 3:30-4:30 in the weight room. Come prepared in athletic attire. See you there!
Grappling Club
Mr. Lahn is looking to start up his grappling club again this year. Any student interested in learning some self defense techniques, basic wrestling and submissions, all while getting a great workout, is asked to see Mr. Lahn for a permission form. Come by the P.E. office in the morning or the weight room at lunch.
Swim Team
There will be a brief swim team meeting today at lunch in room 212. All swimmers must be in attendance. Also, a reminder that today is the final day to sign up for the team.
Math Contests
The intermediate and senior math contests are taking place right now in Room 319. If you signed up for this contest and are not currently in Room 319:
- Stand up.
- Hold your sharpened pencil high in the air and declare “math needs me!”
- Discreetly head to 319 like the well trained math ninja you are.
