Math Help

The math help center is open today at lunch in Room 318.


The Canadian Armed Forces is looking for fit, motivated, confident young men and women with an interest in challenging and multifaceted training as infantry soldiers.  This is an opportunity for students to gain experience in a military environment, develop self-confidence, leadership and teamwork skills, all while earning wages!  They will also pay for your post secondary education! 

Come to the Armed Forces information session on Wednesday November 9th, Period 3 (12:30) in the Co-op classroom (across from the Innovation Space).

 


Public Health Nurse Support:

There will be a Public Health Nurse in our school once a week to support students with their well-being.  Confidential health support will be provided one-on-one for interested students.  More details are available in the guidance office or on the posters in the guidance office area.

Nordic Ski team

There will be an important Nordic ski meeting today at lunch in room 234. Everyone is welcome. See you there!!

 

Level One Cook and Level One Carpentry at Georgian College

These immersive programs are being offered semester 2 and space is limited. Participants will learn at the college and will spend half the semester in a co-op. Interested students must be in grade 12 and should come to see Mr. Low in guidance. Applications are being taken until November 20.

 

Senior Boys Volleyball

Congratulations to the seniors for clinching first place in the north with a huge win against our cross town rivals OSDSS. The boys have big games next Monday and Thursday here at the school! Go Stangs!

 

Junior Boys Volleyball

Congratulations to the Jr Boys for a big win against OSDSS yesterday and clinching 2nd. Lunch practice in the gym today!
