OSSLT Prep


This is a reminder to Grade 10 Period 2 Teachers that today is the day for the second session for practicing for the Literacy Test. Resources and instructions have been sent to all teachers. 


Students who practiced with Ms. Glasier last week are asked to meet in Portable 6 at the beginning of Period 2 today. 


Play Auditions

Auditions for Little Shop of Horrors will be taking place Nov. 7th and 10th after school in the music room.  Please be sure to sign your name on the list found on the drama room door if you want to audition.  No audition times can be changed. Please plan accordingly.  Break a leg and be sure to bring your best!

The College Information Fair, at Georgian College in Owen Sound, is happening today.  If you handed in your permission form, meet the bus at the front of the school at the end of period 1.

Improv Team


There will be an Improv team practice today from 3:30 to 5:15 in the Drama Room.


The Canadian Armed Forces is looking for fit, motivated, confident young men and women with an interest in challenging and multifaceted training as infantry soldiers.  This is an opportunity for students to gain experience in a military environment, develop self-confidence, leadership and teamwork skills, all while earning wages!  They will also pay for your post secondary education! 

Come to the Armed Forces information session on Wednesday November 9th, Period 3 (12:30) in the Co-op classroom (across from the Innovation Space).

 

Nordic Ski Team

There will be an important Nordic Ski meeting in room 234 tomorrow at lunch. Everyone is welcome. See you tomorrow!

 

 

Level One Cook and Level One Carpentry at Georgian College

These immersive programs are being offered semester 2 and space is limited. Participants will learn at the college and will spend half the semester in a co-op. Interested students must be in grade 12 and should come to see Mr. Low in guidance. Applications are being taken until November 20.
