Girls Field Lacrosse

There will be a brief but important meeting tomorrow (Friday) at the start of lunch in room 315 regarding helping out with the boys OFSAA. Also remember to comment on google classroom if you want a lax hoodie (size, number/name). We will practice Monday after school. 


Mountain Bike Team

Congratulations to the mountain bike racers at our second BAA race yesterday. A special shout out to: Luke MacDonald for placing 1st in senior boys, having the fastest time of the day! Ty Archer for placing 1st in Grade 11 boys and 4th in senior boys. Brody Dinning for placing 1st in Novice boys and Maisie MacDonald and Mila McMurray for placing top five in ladies novice. Well done team! Next week we head to 3Stage near Blue Mountain.

 

Important Message from the Finance Office

The Finance will be closed today and tomorrow, Friday, because Ms. Martin is away. It will reopen on Monday. 

Coffee House

With the success of the last Coffee House, we are going to host another one on Thursday June 9th!  Anyone is welcome to bring their talents to display throughout the show.  If interested, please attend an important meeting TOMORROW at lunch in the drama room.  Audition information will be given out at this time.

Prom Tickets

Tickets for Prom are available for purchase on School Cash until Friday May 13th. If you want to pay cash, please see Mrs. Patterson in Resource during the afternoon today and tomorrow, Friday. Stop by the cafeteria at lunch today and speak to your Prom Committee for more information. Tickets will be available for pick up beginning Monday at the Finance Office.

Senior Boys Volleyball


There is a meeting for all senior boy volleyball players, this includes students thinking about trying out next year. It will be in room 302 at lunch today.








Need Volunteer Hours?


The Alzheimer Society is holding a “Walk for Alzheimer’s”  taking place in Owen Sound and Southampton on Saturday, May 28th. They require volunteers for;

  • Handing out water bottles
  • Marshalling along the walk trail
  • Taking pictures at our photo booth
  • Helping to set up banners and signage at the pavilion

Girls’ Varsity Soccer

The Girls’ Varsity Soccer Team continued their winning streak yesterday at Victoria Park, and remain undefeated in BAA Soccer action. 

Once again, the Mustangs stomped OSDSS Wolves with a 2-1 win. Props go out to Keeper Inari Harjunmaa, while Maggie Boyes & Mackenzie Falls put one in the net for the Mustangs.

Ms. Nicholson is beyond proud of you ladies…way to leave it all out on the field.

Rest-up in preparation for our last game of the regular season Friday at Victoria Park @ 11:15am.


Ms. Nicholson and the Team would like to send a huge shout-out to Lindy Kingston & Maya Murgelas for volunteering their time, and enduring the heat as Assistant Referees for all games hosted yesterday. THANK YOU LINDY & MAYA; WE APPRECIATE YOU!

Boys Soccer


The Boys Soccer team split their games yesterday with one win against GHSS and one loss against OSDSS. The boys are hungry for a re-match next week. Special shoutout to Wyatt Fassl and Nate O for excellent games. Next games are Friday at Victoria Park at 10am and 1:45pm!
