Girls Field Lacrosse

Reminder that there is practice tomorrow after school meet in the gym to run over together. Please remember to tell Mrs. Nesbitt or Mrs. Solinger if you aren’t going to make it to practice. Please pay player fees online on school cash or see Mrs. Martin in the finance office.

Girls Rugby

The girls rugby team came away with two well earned ties yesterday.  In the first game, the Mustangs came back from a two try deficit against Kincardine to finish with a 10-10 tie.  Phoebe Van Kooten and Megan Shields scored tries.   


After a quick break, the girls were back on the field to take on Sacred Heart.   The Mustangs worked extremely hard to finish with a 15-15 tie.  Emelia Jansen, Heavlyn Sekyere, and Maeve Evans scored tries.

Mountain Bike Team

Please come to room 128 or 326 at lunch today to get another permission form to race at Allan Park tomorrow (the Conservation Area requires an additional permission form for you to sign). Tomorrow is our second BAA mountain bike race! Meet at the bike locker at the beginning of period 2 tomorrow, don’t forget to pack lunch, water, snacks and sunscreen! See you all tomorrow, don’t forget your new permission form. 

 


Prom Tickets

Tickets for Prom are available for purchase on School Cash.  Tickets can be purchased until Friday May 13th.  Get yours today.  Stop by the cafeteria at lunch today and speak to your Prom Committee for more information.

Coffee House

With the success of the last Coffee House, we are going to host another one on Thursday June 9th!  Anyone is welcome to bring their talents to display throughout the show.  If interested, please attend an important meeting this Friday May 13th at lunch in the drama room.  Audition information will be given out at this time.

Students who signed up for co-op next year and have not been called down to discuss their options for a placement should come to the co-op office when possible. Please check your school email for requests for meetings and interviews.

Boys Soccer


The Boys Soccer team continued their undefeated run yesterday, beating OSDSS 2-0 and GBCS 2-1. Excellent defense by Connor Mcmanaman and Wyatt Fassl held us steady, with goal contributions from Lex Green, Nate Oniszeczko, and Logan Black. Practice tonight at Victoria Park after school!

Girls’ Varsity Soccer

The Girls’ Varsity Soccer Team continued their winning streak yesterday, and remain undefeated in BAA Soccer action. 

The Mustangs stampeded into Meaford and bucked the OSDSS Wolves right off the field with a 1-0 win. The shut-out goes to Inari Harjunmaa with Lynn van der Laan scoring for the Mustangs.

The second game saw the Mustangs stomp GBCS 5-1. Props go out to scorers Maggie Boyes, Ilona Remsu, Felicity Watson, Ellie Lehman and Elise Nair with a beauty goal.

Ms. Nicholson is beyond proud of you ladies…way to leave it all out on the field.

Practice today after school at Victoria Park in preparation for our home game on Wednesday @ 12:30pm.


Volunteer Hours

Are you in need of volunteer hours and would like to act as an assistant soccer referee and simply call the ball in and out on Wednesday at Victoria Park?
