Legion Remembrance Day Contest

Just a quick reminder that this is the last week to complete your entries for the Legion Remembrance Day Competition, as all posters, essays, and poems are due back to Miss Jerome in Portable 9 before November 2nd (that is next week). Please have your completed registration form with your work.

VISUAL ARTS CERAMIC CLUB 

The Visual Arts Ceramic Club meets today after school from 3-5PM in the Artroom - 


This years clay will be given out after school to all members who payed. All members are reminded to pick up their own plastic bucket to wash their hands weekly in and store their block of clay in their lockers accordingly. 


Cross Country
Attention all cross country runners. Please spend a moment to fill out a very important form on the cross country google classroom before you begin your day. Please note that CWOSSA has been moved to Sawmill Ski in Hepworth this coming Thursday.


Math Contests

Any students who missed Friday’s meeting for the Intermediate and Senior Math Contests and wish to sign up can see Mr. Kempe at lunch today in Room 318.


Improv

Auditions for the Improv Team take place this Wednesday after school in the Drama Room.  Please note this is not an Open Improv - attend only if you are interested in being on the team.


Baseball

The SMHS baseball team travels to Kincardine today for the BAA semi-final.  If the game is a go, please meet in front of the school at the end of period 3 to catch the bus. Players please check your email and listen for an announcement regarding a weather cancellation.


Youth Group

Youth Group begins today at lunch in room 234.  Students from all grades are welcome.



Mountain Biking


Attention mountain bikers: due to poor trail conditions, a rainy forecast, and your coach’s knee injury, there will be no ride tomorrow after school.  Once again, no mountain bike ride tomorrow after classes.

For those interested in St. Mary’s new competitive business club, please see Ms. Simons and Mr. Low in portable 3 at lunch today. It is a great opportunity to learn about business, network with people across the country and have fun developing new skills.
