Dear BGCDSB Families,
The Ministry of Health has required all Public Health Units to offer COVID 19 vaccines in school as a strategy to increase the layers of protection from the spread of the COVID 19 Delta variant. To support uptake for the youth population, Grey Bruce Health Unit will offer in-school COVID 19 vaccine clinics beginning September 13, 2021. This will make vaccines readily available for all eligible students and education staff. These clinics will focus on COVID 19 vaccinations only.
Like all medical procedures, COVID 19 vaccines are only provided with personal informed consent. Prior to attending a clinic in one of our schools, we insist that BGCDSB parents and guardians discuss immunization with their children. As such, families/students who wish to receive a vaccination are required to complete the attached Ministry of Health informed consent form and send it on the day of the clinic.

Schedule of BGCDSB School Based Vaccination Clinics
These dates are for in-school vaccine clinics and will not be open to the general public. They will be run by and staffed with Grey Bruce Public Health employees. COVID 19 protocols will be in place during the clinics including hand sanitizing, masking and face shields, physical distancing and wiping high touch surfaces frequently.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your Catholic School Principal.
Be Safe and Be Well,
God Bless,
Gary O’Donnell, Director of Education
