CERAMIC CLUB meets every Monday from Sept-June 3-5PM (Late taxi’s are available to take you home at 5:30PM)
All students - you do not have to take Visual Arts to join CERAMIC CLUB

LAST YEAR’S VISUAL ARTS QUAD 3 GROUPS ARTWORK IS STILL ON SCHOOL STAGE
Any Visual Arts students from last year Quad 3 groups, there is still Artwork on the school stage in the cafeteria - please take by Friday September 10th - after this date anything left on the school stage will be recycled.
Girls’ Rugby
There will be a girls’ rugby meeting today at the start of lunch in the gym. All students who are interested in playing this year are welcome to attend. Practices will start next week (Tuesday and Thursday).
Dual Credit Course: Sports in Society
Grade 12 students interested in earning a college credit and high school credit, there is a dual credit course available this semester called Sports in Society. Learn about current issues in sport - equity, commercialization, Olympics and the coaches perspective. If you are interested in learning more, please see Mr. Low in the guidance office. Registration is happening now and there are limited spots available.
Junior Boys Volleyball
There will be a Junior Boys Volleyball tryout after school today at 3:15 - 5:15. All students who are interested in playing this year are encouraged to attend. Meet Mr. Clark in the weight room at 3:15 ready to go.
Football
Any grade 11 or 12 students who want to play football should come to the changeroom at lunch to get outfitted with equipment.
There will be a practice tonight behind the portables, no cleats.
Senior Girls Basketball
Attention to all senior girls! If you are in grade 11 or 12 and want to play basketball, please go see Mr. Jones down in resource ASAP! As a reminder, our first practice will be tomorrow after school!
Girls Golf
Calling all girl’s golfers! Are you interested in hitting the course while the nice weather is still here? Do you have experience, or just want to learn how to play? If interested, come see Mrs. Ward tomorrow (that’s Friday) at the beginning of lunch in room 227 to sign up!

SCHOOL CLOTHING
If you are interested in purchasing school clothing, please complete the form on the St. Mary’s school website (smhs.bgcdsb.org) or see Ms. Brown in the co-op area to pick up an order form. Once payment is received your item will be ordered and you will be contacted when it arrives.
Robotics
There will be a robotics practice tonight in the Innovation Space. New members are welcome. Be sure to get late taxis if necessary.
Junior Girls Basketball
There will be an important meeting tomorrow at the beginning of lunch in the gym for all Grade 9 and 10 girls interested in tryout for this year’s Junior girls basketball team. A reminder as well that tryouts will be held on Monday and Wednesday after school next week. Please see Miss Glasier or Mr. Quinlan for more information.
Mountain Bike Rides
Any students interested in participating in weekly mountain bikes should pick up a permission form from either Ms. McGee or Mr. Hannusch. We will be riding local trails after school each Tuesday starting next week. Forms can be found in either room 327 or 326.
