Dear Families,
We want to confirm with you that this afternoon the Premier and the Minister of Education announced that we will continue in remote learning for the rest of the school year. We appreciate this will be challenging information for many families. We trust that this decision by our Provincial Government is in the best interest and safety of all Ontarians. We have done an excellent job as a community to follow all of the safety measures and we continue to encourage all within our community to adhere to health protocols.
Our students, families and staff have worked very hard during this online, remote learning period and we look forward to bringing a positive close to the end of the school year. Families may have many questions about picking up personal items, returning textbooks and chromebooks etc. Now that we have final confirmation that schools will not open to in person learning we will prepare our plans for closing out the school year and communicate that information with our families.
Thank you for your continued patience, support and understanding as we have worked through another challenging school year.
Be Safe and Be Well,
God Bless,
Gary O’Donnell, Director of Education
