Volunteer Hours:
OSCA, the Owen Sound Combat Academy, is looking for artistic students to aid with design elements. Your volunteer work designing structural entrances and/or mural design could actually be featured in/on the Owen Sound Combat Academy! Any selected designs will feature YOUR name. Science Fair:
One more call for students interested in joining the science fair this school year. Please email Mr. Kim, [email protected], to inform him of your intent to participate in the virtual science fair. Registrations are due at the end of January and, so far, there do not appear to be ANY high school students participating this year for the Bluewater Regional Science and Technology Fair. Your chances of winning gold appear to be excellent!
HOSA:
Students interested in HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America ), please email Mr. Kim, [email protected]. Mr. Kim is considering helping to bring HOSA to SMHS if the interest is there. It’s like DECA, but for students interested in becoming health professionals, rather than business professionals.
